We, the members of “The Christian Crew”, stand united in our effort to provide the online gaming community with a clean environment, of fellowship and exciting game play. Our members will conduct themselves with integrity and decency, reflecting true Christian Character, in order that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ might be honored and glorified. We are committed to the ministry and growth of our community for the Kingdom of God, presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the fundamental truth of God. Finally, we pledge to never forget that we are Christians first, and fellow gamers second.

We are Christian Crew Gaming — a faith based gaming community founded in 2003. Since our beginning we have grown into becoming one of the largest online Christian gaming communities globally. Our mission is to provide a safe and family-friendly gaming community where anyone is welcome to join and participate. Our desire is to be ambassadors of Christ in the area of online gaming, being examples and sharing the Good News in the hopes of reaching the lost. Our members pledge to be Christians first and gamers second so that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, would be honored and glorified.

We hold ourselves accountable to be a light in the darkness, a beacon in the great sea of the internet, a caring place for those uncared for. The Christian Crew is different from the standard Christian presence on the web because we understand the power of the medium itself. We use social media, voip, video, and much more to get Christ’s message out there, as well as to give our members the greatest fellowship capabilities they can find to interact with each other. We believe all of our assets should be family friendly, clean and respectful, and uplifting as possible.

We have a core of leaders known as the Council. We have our regular believer members, as well as ACC Members. (Allies of the Christian Crew) ACC members can be non-believers who simply love the idea of gaming in an environment kept free from crass language, pornography, and sexual innuendo. Yes, some ACC members are atheists! We hope one day to help them become believers!

We are unique for many reasons, but some of the main ones are that we have evolved as gaming and the internet itself have evolved, to keep up with the changing moods of our members. We started as a clan primarily centered around the game Counter-Strike, but we have grown far beyond those initial constraints. We now have members who play many different games in many different genres…Married couples who play, families with children who play, mom housewives who play, and more! We are active in the streaming world, on youtube, twitter, facebook, have some serious professionals maintaining our servers and website, doing our graphics, and product design, and more. We have been around for 13 years, and God Willing, we will have 13 more!

What We Believe

  • We believe that there is only one God, who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and in 7 days created the heavens and the earth (I John 5:7; Matthew 28:19-20; Genesis 1:29-2:25).
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God; it is perfect, true, and God-breathed. The Bible is the final authority for faith and life (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21; II Peter 3:15-16; Matthew 5:18).
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God. But by his voluntary sin, fell from his high and holy state; that as a result the human race was plunged into condemnation and death, so that now all human beings are born with a sinful nature; and that all become willful sinners in thought, word, and deed and are without excuse before God (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3:1-22; Romans 5:10-19; Psalm 51:5).
  • We believe that because of man’s sin, God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to earth and was crucified on the cross, died, and on the third day rose again and ascended into heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father (John 3:16; Mark 15:33-37; Mark 16:1-8; Mark 16:19-20).
  • We believe that the salvation of sinners is by the grace through faith in the blood sacrifice, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; that all who receive Him are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God; that no rite, ceremony, or work can avail one whit for the sinner’s salvation or make the believer’s salvation more secure; that Christ is the only and all sufficient Savior, and He will never leave those He saves (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; John 3:3; John 5:24; John 1:12; Romans 10:9-13; Acts 16:31; Acts 4:12; II Timothy 1:12; John 10:28-29; Romans 8:35-39; Philippians 1:6).

Here at Christian Crew Gaming we have a team of Event Coordinators who put together monthly free-to-play game nights, we host Bible Studies every Thursday night, and we have CC Meetings every other Saturday evening.  On top of that, some of our game divisions have weekly game nights, where we get everyone we can who plays that game to play together!

Harassment, be it sexual, bullying, or otherwise is strictly forbidden, engaging in this behavior could result in an instant permanent ban. Don't do it!

Please use common courtesy and etiquette when it comes to streaming on any of our servers, but particularly TeamSpeak. Many people are uncomfortable to be recorded or streamed. We appreciate observance of this suggestion, but will make it a rule if the need for enforcement continues to rise.

1. No Objectionable Content

1.1 Do not post or link to pornographic or related material.

1.2 No swearing of any kind.

1.3 Do not link to MySpace.

1.4 Do not post, link to, or discuss stolen/pirated software.

2. Be Respectful

2.1 Do not flame each other.

2.2 No posting "your mom" jokes.

2.3 Do not call things "gay" or use other homophobic or discriminatory language.

2.4 Do not openly argue with anyone. If you have a problem someone, PM him or her directly.

2.5 Do not attack another member by rude or unnecessary remarks, or name-calling.

2.6 Debates between issues are fine but do not attack another member directly. And when the debate has concluded; agree to disagree.

2.7 If you attack someone personally by PM (Private Message), you will be either severely warned or possibly banned.

3. Do Not Spam the Forum

3.1 Spamming such as posting an excessive amount of one word, or of one thread is not acceptable.

3.2 Posting only 1-3 words that do not add anything to the thread, and posting completely useless threads that have no meaning to them is spam also.

3.3 Use the appropriate forums for what you're posting.

3.4 Check the dates on threads. If they are old posts don't revive it.

4. Do Not Double Post

4.1 If you need to add to your post, click the 'edit' button on the top right-hand side of your post and add what you need.

4.2 Know that double posting can sometimes be counted as spam.

4.3 Double posting is allowed, however, when you were the last person to post in a thread, some time has past, and you have something valuable to post. If this is the case, feel free to post what you need.

5. Do Not Post Just to Raise Your Post Count!

"Stop worrying about your post count, and just make your posts count!"

5.1 Your post count does not matter, even if it makes you think that having a higher post count than everyone else makes you a 'better' or 'higher' member than the rest. What counts is what you post. Not how many.

6. Leetspeak

6.1 This is a forum, not Steam chat or AIM. U dnt nede 2 tak lik tis 2 get ur pnt acrozz. Typing in such a way is not proper grammar or even English and it's also very difficult to read. Take your time and type things out clearly.

7. Forum Administrators and Moderators

7.1 When an Admin or Mod is to step in on a situation you are to respect them. Not to put them higher than other members, but the Admins/Mods have been put in place by the Council to keep the forum in order.

7.2 If you feel you've been wrongly accused, either contact the Admin/Mod directory, or if you feel it necessary, take it to a Council Member.

8. Do not create joke, secondary, or alternate accounts. We take forums security pretty seriously, and will generally quickly ban accounts we assume are adbots or joke accounts (trolls.) We only allow one official nickname change per user so people don't get confused, alternate accounts create the same confusion and are considered a form of subterfuge.

9. Please keep in mind this is a non-denominational Christian community, and as such; we reserve the right to remove posts or topics which we deem to be incompatible with our Mission Statement, or otherwise might cause members of one doctrinal position to feel threatened or abused by another. We are here to support and uplift each other on what we have in common, namely, the Glory and Salvation of Christ, not every jot and tittle of the Law, or how we might differ on those differences.

All members (CC or ACC) of Christian Crew Gaming must follow these guidelines:

Username & Username Changes

Members are allowed only one name change. This is to minimize the amount of confusion that could be caused from people constantly changing their names. If you wish to change your name, post a new thread on the forums stating the new username you wish to use, and why. Members are not allowed to change their names while connected to a server. Variations may be made; however, your “usual” name must be visible.

Only those who have have been posted in the New CC Members section and/or received email confirmation may wear the CC/ACC tags.

Members are required to wear the CC tags when in The FISH servers.

You may leave CC at any time. If you wish to leave CC either PM a Council Member or post a new thread on the forums and state the reason why you’re leaving. If you’re leaving because of a problem within CC please talk privately with a Council Member rather then post the problem in the forums.

Please keep in mind that any CC member leaving, whether it be on good or bad terms, receives a minimum 2 week ban from the game servers. If you cause problems during this time this length may be extended.

Division Formation:

1) A game is not open to Division status until or unless:

  •  It has been played fairly consistently by 10+ members for more than one month.
  •  The Christian Crew has SOME control over the game server, either the server is on our box and under our control or in the case of external servers; we have control over who joins, who is banned, etc. In some cases, we will consider the ability to password a server and control who joins as enough, such as is the case with Rocket League and Overwatch.
  •  The game has a player or multiple players who stand out to Leadership as a better than average choice to be Division Leader(s), who WANTS to do the job and can pass a leadership vote to be invited into the job. We would prefer two people for each division, preferably a primary Division Leader, and a backup DL. Division Leaders, when chosen, and who have accepted their position will remain on "probation" for at least two game nights in their game, so that leadership can be sure they show up for their event on time, can defuse conflicts between players, and basically show a strong leadership and administration aspect.
  •  The game is setup in such a way that allows us to 'push' a particular night of the week as its Game Night. Obviously, the community and players are welcome to play what they like when they like, on CC assets or not, but the Christian Crew would like to be able to advertise and reach out to people at specific events centered around the game, so event night or game nights need to be an option. CC Leadership will do everything they are able to help promote and populate such events using any and all assets to accomplish this, not limited to Facebook, Youtube, Twitch, TeamSpeak, Steam, or any other resource.

2) A game is no longer considered a Division, or is in danger of disbandment if:

  •  No CC Members regularly play or promote play of the game, there is no group of 'regular' non-CC Member players, or any other real interest above a threshold of 10+ players consistently playing the game together.
  •  The gameserver asset itself takes up space on our box, costs our community any money or other assets to run, or otherwise taxes our community in any way when the game itself is not being shown any real interest by a threshold amount of players.
  •  A current Division Leader no longer shows (at least) weekly interest in the leadership position, and there are no other people we see as capable and wanting to take the position. Division Leaders who become ineffective or absent will lose their DL tags in ts and on the website.

Please note: There may be certain games that CC will have installed and/or configured for play on our box for our members that are not currently "Divisioned Games"... In other words, lack of a TF2 or CS:GO Division doesn't mean we will disband and remove all servers completely. This will be done at the discretion of leadership, open to the suggestions of both Tech Support and the membership as to their opinions on the matter.

The reason behind this definition of rules and terms is so that there is no ambiguity for members or leaders as to what is considered a Division.

Why have Divisions? What makes them different?

A CC Division game will receive special attention from all quadrants of the Staff and Members of the Christian Crew. A Division game will be promoted and 'pushed' by Leaders, Event Coordinators, on all of our assets. A CC Division receives a Division specific page on our website, where new visitors will see it prominently displayed. A CC Division always has a "Division Leader" whom is responsible for keeping the Division interesting, promoting gameplay, handling admin leadership, and much more. This benefit is two-fold as it means every Division Game has an obvious leader assigned, but also gives our members an opportunity to lead within their community, in a game they love, while still promoting our Christian message and standards of gameplay.
