How do I treat others?

Have you ever asked God to reveal how you treat others?  Most of us probably haven't because we're so wrapped up in our own lives that we fail to see how we interact with those around us. Our treatment of others often reflects how serious we are about our relationship with Jesus Christ.  If we are seeking Christ,  everyday we want to please Him and grow closer to Him. If we want to please God, we strive to treat others kindly.

However when our reality is exposed we often see that our treatment of others is less respectful  and considerate than what we expect from others regarding how they treat us.  Hypocrates, we are very good at expecting perfection from someone else and expecting God's grace and understanding for our actions. Think about our prayers- God help me. Conversely when we are wronged by someone we pray for God to settle the score! Jesus asked us to bless those who curse us and spitefully use us!  Bless do not curse.

Make today a new day on how you see and treat others.  May God bless your commitment to seeking and serving Him through your gracious actions towards others.

God Bless,
