Has anyone ran into problems running the windows XP home or Windows 7 (64) bit platform? I would like to make the jump so my board can run at it's full potential. Any words of advice or problems out there brothers?

Thanks,

I have Windows 7 64-bit and I have 0 issues. The only issues I will run into are unsupported games, which doesn't happen much.

Windows 7 is the way to go, especially if you are upgrading from XP. I don't know how that upgrade progress works, I would recommend a clean install.

The only issue i have had with windows 7 (64 bit) are a few games that dont run with the User Account Control on, but most should work (Just avoid Rainbow Six: Vegas 1  )

It is a built in security feature that prompts you to run/install anything that requires administrator. I have mine on, and I have had no trouble whatsoever.
