Grandpa died

Hey guys, just wanted to throw out a praise that my Grandfather died peacefully. This may sound weird to some but I'm glad he died today instead of during a streak of pain. He has gone through two heart attacks and a stroke in the past few years and the stroke left him to use pretty much only his left side. He has been hurting for a while so I'm glad he is finally with our father in heaven. This is actually the first death I've faced in my family, but I loved him and he knew it and he loved me and I knew it so what is the use of carrying on and being sad! He is with God! I just needed a place to get my feelings thrown out in the open. Anyways, praise the Lord for Charles Phillips and the wonderful impression he made on my life.

Ill be praying for you...and i must say, you are definitely seeing this in the right light Talon. This is a praise! My great-grandma died this past year but she was losing her mind in the months leading up to it. When the Lord finally took her, it was definitely for the best, she couldn't have possibly been more miserable here and it was beginning to effect the rest of the family.

That being said, i'm sorry for your loss and you will have my prayers.

I know how it feels, I too lost my grandpa a couple months ago. Will be praying that God may be with you always.
