Cardiology tests

So Sunday morning before church I ended up in the ER with some pretty bad chest pains and numbness in my rear and front shoulder area, through my arm and down to my fingers on my left side. By the time I got to the ER the pain had gone but they got me right in and monitered me for 4 hours or so.

My next step after seeing my regular doc on Monday is to see a cardiologist for a stress test (whatever that is.. Im assuming they will get my heart rate up and do some more tests). My appointment is Tuesday.

My saving grace is (other than knowing that no matter what happens I know where my eternity lies) is that all my vitals show good for a guy my age (no wise cracks) and I have no history of heart conditions in my Family other than my grandfather.

Pray that my tests go ok and I get some sort of answer with them.

May not relate to what's going on,
but my mom was also feeling chest pains a while back.
In her case it was panic attacks which very closely emulate the symptoms of a heart attack. So just putting that out there,if that is the case for you Father Mike.

Nonetheless, I pray that you get better and that it is nothing serious.

Well, i'm glad the initial checked turned up fine! I think a stress test is getting you on a treadmill and monitoring you, never had one though so i dunno.

Ill definitely be praying for you.

Man im prayin for you. Better is one day in your courts, than thousands elsewhere... Yeah I know the feeling and its not fun. though im relatively young (20) i have a heart murmur and have had to get an echo-cardiogram. Its very scary when it has to do with your heart. I'm pullin for you!
