Ladies and Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to the grand opening of ACE 2.0! The new, and remarkably improved, Artistic & Creative Endeavors website!

Our new website will be far more useful, interesting, and fun for ACE artists and Christian Crew members alike, as we have now moved over to the Joomla Content Management System. ACE 2.0 is more interactive, more community and profile based, and has the latest in Joomla technologies powering all of its systems.

A few things you can expect from the new website:

  • The site has a gorgeous design, and a far more artistic feel than the original site. The entire experience will be more pleasing to the eyes and ears!
  • A stable website management system! Our forums, content, and even our ACE Application have been revamped and work wonderfully!
  • More user interactivity! We have all new image and video galleries, and have showcased our Writer's Gallery on our main menu for the first time!
  • Our most popular 'gadgets', like the ACE ShoutBox will remain for now, but are now accessible by a really cool, Facebook style user toolbar!
  • The entire community uses Community Builder, a Joomla enhancement that allows everyone to connect more easily, and focuses on the users!

There are simply too many additions to list, but PLEASE, give the new site a visit, and if you enjoy the experience, please thank these individuals:

Stargater59: Now an honorary ACE member for LIFE! Star has done everything to make ACE 2.0 run like a well-oiled machine. From setup, to implementation, he has been involved, giving selflessly of his time and expertise. Gater has done everything from PHP, database, and CSS editing, to giving opinions on design, visuals, and virtually everything else you'll see at the new site. ACE 2.0 would not be possible whatsoever without Stargater's incredible serving attitude and wonderful advice!

Thamyris: Having been a capable leader of ACE in his own right since the very beginning, Tham has outdone himself working on ACE 2.0! Thamyris has customized the new site to an awe-inspiring level, by tweaking CSS code, designing graphics and positional layouts, and much, much more. He has thrown buckets of his creativity into the new website, and it shows! Virtually everything from the front page to the smallest smiley on ACE passed through Tham's creative process, and ACE 2.0 would not be possible whatsoever without Thamyris' incredible serving attitude and wonderful talents!

Stormfire: In just over one year, Stormfire has gone from a new graphic artist to one of the very best in ACE. He tops this accomplishment by being one of the greatest participators in all ACE does. At ACE 2.0, SF has given everything he has to make the experience both technically smooth, and artistically beautiful. Some of the most obvious and coolest aspects of the new website were put together from his ideas, and he is SOLELY responsible for the order and indexxing of our entirely new forums. Storm came to this project with a degree of professionalism that is, quite frankly, rare for people his age, and ACE 2.0 would not be possible whatsoever without Stormfire's incredible serving attitude and attention to detail!

Genesis, Shadowsbane, and Nightfire: Genesis is an amazing artist, but he also possesses a capable and critical eye for website design. Where the ACE staff occasionally went overboard or got redundant, Genesis shared opinions that helped us cut the wheat from the chaffe, and make the site far more pleasing for the average user. His no-nonsense advice and thoughts were critical to the direction we took, and we thank him for his valuable opinions. Shadowsbane, besides being a blogger, Council Member, and Admin Extraordinaire on his own, offered invaluable assistance to the ACE staff by finding every typo, error, and problem he could. Sometimes 'beta-testing' can be pretty boring, but that didn't stop Shadow from testing everything he could to make our jobs easier! Nightfire accidentally stumbled on the site while away from home. He was trying to remember the correct web URL for ACE, and put in the new site's address by mistake! Despite this, we jumped on the chance to have a user's frank opinion, and Nightfire didn't disappoint. His opinion early on in the site's development let us know we where proceeding in a good direction, and we thank him so much for his valuable insight! ACE 2.0 would not be possible whatsoever without the serving attitudes and enthusiasm of Genesis, Shadowsbane, and Nightfire!
